Marijuana has large amounts of this cannabinoid, which can exceed 20%. However, hemp does not exceed the legally permitted 0.2%. In the past, there were also certain differences in the morphology of both plant species. This was because hemp flowers were scarce and not very fragrant.

However, the popularization of CBD has allowed the creation of new varieties of hemp. These have the same terpene profile as many marijuana strains, but without psychoactive capacity.

We do not yet know all the medicinal qualities of CBD and much research remains to be done, although so far there is evidence of its properties:

Analgesic: Relieves pain. It blocks the transmission of the pain signal, activating the receptors of the endocannabinoid system.

Anti-inflammatory: Reduces and prevents inflammation through modulation of inflammatory responses.

Anxiolytic: Helps to reduce stress, depression or anxiety.

Antitumor: May help inhibit the growth of cancer cells.

Antioxidant: Protects tissues by preventing cell aging.

Antipsychotic: It is potentially beneficial for the symptoms of psychosis.

Neuroprotective: Strengthens the brain and protects it from steady decline as people age.

CBD flowers in Spain, according to the current legal framework, are intended solely for decorative, aromatic and/or collector use.

In other countries such as the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Luxembourg, or the Czech Republic, the sale of CBD marijuana for smoking or vaporizing is permitted. Therefore, today, there are many users who use this form of cannabidiol consumption to take advantage of the benefits attributed to it.

In this way they avoid the psychotropic effects of THC provided by traditional recreational marijuana.

When applied under the tongue, CBD is prevented from passing through the digestive tract and enters directly into the blood through tiny capillaries under the tongue and on the inside of the cheek. In this way, the effects not only begin to be felt more quickly, but are also more pronounced.

Whether you apply CBD oil on top of or under the tongue, hold the liquid in your mouth for 60 seconds before swallowing for best results.

Experts recommend starting with a dose of 2.5 or 5 mg of CBD per day, i.e. between 2 and 5 drops, and increasing by 5 mg at a time until the positive effects are perceived.

In healthy people, CBD does not usually have side effects. Unlike THC, the main component of marijuana, CBD is not psychoactive. That is to say, it does not produce any type of effect that could affect perception. However, to avoid risks, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, in children, in people with cardiac or mental pathologies and in combination with medicinal plants.

These “moon rocks” are more potent as they far exceed the CBD concentrate of the flowers. Instead of being “coated” in Kief, the Ice rocks are covered with pure CBD crystals (the purest form of CBD), which makes it possible to reach a CBD concentration as impressive as 80%.

Although at first glance CBD extractions are virtually indistinguishable from hashish, they are not the same as conventional cannabis.

This CBD hashish has a high CBD content but very low in THC, less than 0.2%. This low THC level will not get you high, although THC is known for its psychoactive effects, CBD hashish will not produce any psychoactive experience.
